Rick London was born in Detroit in 1948. He moved to San Francisco in 1974, where he continues to live and work. He is the author of the poetry collections The Materialist (Doorjamb Press, 2008), Picture with Moving Parts (Doorjamb Press, 2002), Abjections: A Suite (O Books, 1988) and Dreaming Close By (O Books, 1986). With Leslie Scalapino he co-edited the anthology Enough: an Anthology of Poetry and Writings against the War (O Books, 2003).
