Stacy Doris’ books of poetry in English are Fledge (Nightboat, 2012), Kildare (Roof Books, 1994), Paramour (Krupskaya, 2000), Conference (Potes & Poets Press, 2000), Knot (University of Georgia Press, 2006), Cheerleader’s Guide to the World: Council Book (Roof Books, 2006), and The Cake Part (Jank Editions, 2011). She also wrote three books in French and translated three volumes of French poetry into English. She died on January 31, 2012 at her home in San Francisco, where she taught in the Creative Writing Programs at SFSU.
