Karl Roeseler is a writer and a painter. He has exhibited his paintings widely and is the author of the novel, The Adventures of Gesso Martin (Trip Street Press, 1994), and the poetry collection The Last Decade (The Post-Apollo Press, 1999). He is co-editor, with David Gilbert, of the short-story collections 2000andWhat?: Stories about the Turn of the Millennium (Trip Street Press, 1996) and Here Lies (Trip Street Press, 2001). Roeseler lives in California.
