Hugo Garcia Manríquez lives in the Bay Area, where he teaches. Author of several books, among others, the bilingual Anti-Humboldt: A Reading of NAFTA (Litmus Press, 2015), and more recently, Commonplace (Cardboard House Press, 2022). Hugo has translated into Spanish William Carlos Williams’ Paterson, and more recently Of Being Numerous by George Oppen. Current projects include two forthcoming selections of poetry by Sean Bonney and Jack Spicer in Spanish.
