Angelos Sakkis was born in Pireus, Greece and immigrated to the U.S. in 1970. He received his BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1989. His artwork has been shown in group and one-person shows and is in collections in Greece and the U.S. His poetry has appeared in Ambush Review and Try! magazine. Working alongside John Sakkis, he has translated the work of poet/multimedia artist Demosthenes Agrafiotis. He lives in Oakland, California.
